Jar After years of working in education and economic development at the state of Nebraska, Betty was ready for retirement and wondered what was next for her. She wasn't interested in golf, traveling, church activities, or volunteering … so she thought about things she might be interested in. Surprisingly, bee-keeping rose to the top of the list. In January of 2006 she enrolled in a Beginning Beekeeping class and set up her hives in a neglected pasture. Her tenacity paid off and soon she was harvesting 300 pounds of raw honey - much more than she could give away to family and friends. When deciding what to do with all this excess honey, she landed on mustard. She now bottles two different mustards as well as honey and other bees wax items. Based in Holdrege, Nebraska.
